Everyones Ill!

So far this week I have had 1 Law Lesson and 0 Btec Lessons!. Essentially enjoying a 5 day weekend, because of the early fininshes on thursday and friday. Maura and Paul have not been in college and both of them essentially take all of our monday and tuesday lessons. Last Week I handed the final draft of Unit 11 assignment and Naders unit 6 assignments so I am finished 2 units. I also handed the final assignment in for Mauras Unit 3, so I have also almost finished another Unit.
This week I want to finish all exstanding work

Strike Week!

Last week was incredibly productive, I managed to finish 2 of my final

 assignments for David's unit 11 and Nader's unit 6 assignments. So far I have a D overall for Unit 6 and on track for a D in all the other units too. As well as being productive it was also eventful, I recieved my january exam results for law, and although they wasnt exactley what I wanted, I was surprised how well I done. Also our friday lesson was disrupted, when someone noticed that there iPod had been stolen, everyone was searched  but it wasnt found.

This week I still have a lot of work to do, I have to:

- Finish Mauras Unit 1 and 3 units

- Finish Pauls assignment

- |Recieve feedback from unit 11 assignment, and improve if it needs it. 

I have applied for the summer work experience job at the college during the summer, I am hoping that I get it as it will be a good expericence and it will look good on my CV and on my university application.

New Week

This week I have a number of things to do, last week was productive and I got a lot of work done, I have made a start on all of the assignments and I just need to finish them now. This week my goals are to:

- Finish all outstanding work for Nader Unit 6

 - Finish Maura's Unit 3 assignment

As well as this on thursday I get my exam results for the january exams I sat for law, im hoping that the grade I get are what I wanted. I got a Cause for Congratulation letter from Anna unit 8, regarding my work ethic and 100% attendance, which is good to see that my work is being recognised.

Busy Start To The Week

Its only tuesday and already this week has been eventful!

Yesterday it took me two hours to get to college, it took 3 trains and a bus, and my journey took me through Hounslow, Feltham and then finally to Twickenham, which meant that I missed my first lesson.

When I eventually got to college I had to finish off the final parts of my Assignment 2 for Unit 2, and then handed it in, in Pauls lesson.

My Goals for this week are:

-Start and hopefully finish assignment 4 for unit 6

- Start the final assignment for unit 3

- Get the group to do work for Unit 11, and get that finished for next week.

I am already ahead on unit 8, so im waiting for the rest of the assignment, I am happy with the work that I have produced for that unit so far!

Exam Results are out next week for my January Law exams, hopefully they went well!

 

Back from Half Term

Half Term wasn't as productives as I wanted it to be, I was working most of the week and by the time I got home I was to tired to focus on coursework. Most of the assignments that are due in are started and I just need to finish them. Over Half Term I managed to organise all my work in to a folder, in to what work is completed, what needs to be done and any drafts of work.

This week my main focus is to complete as many assignments due in these are;

- Unit 6 - P5, M1, D1

- Unit 2 - P3, P4, M2, D1

- And to finish any outstanding work for any other units.

The Group work for Davids assignment isnt going well again, its more me doing all the work and  the group just watching, a repeat of last time! At least its getting done!

Half-Term

I've had so much work to do since coming back from christmas break, too much work and not enough time to do it, as well as exams too! Now all my exams are done and out of the way, I can focus soley on coursework and try and get it all done.

For this week my Goals are:

• Start Pauls Unit 2 assignment ready for me to finish after half term
• Finish all work for Maura Unit 1 and 3, and get all the work in to my portfolio
• Finish creating the website for Anna's Unit 8 assignment
• Finally finish  Naders unit 6 assignment

I have also had a problem over the last couple of weeks uploading any work to moodle as it seems to become corrupt whenever I open it on a college computer so I have been trying to find a fix for that too.

1 down 1 to go!

Last week I had my Law exam resit and it went ok! Could have gone better but it still could have gone worst. I have 1 more exam which is on a wednesday (my day off), for Law again hopefully it will go better. Then in febuary have my theory test, which as of today has got harder according to the news, just add to the pressure.

As for the BTEC everything is going well I have got my first distinction, so its the incentive to get the rest, so with any luck and a lot of hard work I will get them all. We should be getting back our assignment from Paul back today, hopefully!

This week im hoping to focus on law, I also have to work on Anna's assignment and finish the M's and the D's!

Parent's evening is tonight so hopefully I will get good reviews! 

Exam Time!

This week i have got my first exam of the year which is Law, hopefully I will get the grade that I want this year, My main goal for this week is to revise as much as I can for my exam on Thursday and for next Wednesday. I got my first Distinction criteria for unit 11 and the Merit criteria to, it has now given me an inscentive to get the rest! Im still waiting for my work back from Paul and from Anna, so im interested to know what I got.
My only goal for this week is to revise, revise, revise!
Also parents evening is coming up so im hoping for good reviews.

"The End is Coming!"

The end of the course is coming up in march, and so far all my work is good, I have got all the criteria for every unit so far!, we still have got to get our 1st draft assignments from Paul and our 1st draft 3rd assignment from Anna. Being back a week already the courseworks are building up again and I have got 2 law exams, driving lessons and my Theory Test coming up in febuary so much to work towards and so much to do!
What I have to do for this week:

1. Revise for both my Law exams
2. Revise towards my theory test  
3. Work on Davids M2 and D1   
4. Work on any other couseworks for other Units

I have got a Driving lesson on wednesday to just add to the pressure of everything else!

2012

Its 2012! Back from Christmas Holiday, back to work.

Had a bit of a break from BTEC, not had any homeworks or assignments so been able to relax a bit, However I have two Law exams in January which means revision and practice essays!

So far I have all the marking criteria for every unit so hoping to keep up with that for the rest of the year, Hoping to get my D's!

December Already!!!

Already were into the first week of december and the end of term is nearing, only 2 weeks left!!

I have 2 assignments left:

- Anna's - Unit 8

-David's - Unit 11

Im struggling with David's assignment as we are working in a group and I am struggling to get them doing some work but hopefully it will all get done! Had two assignments back now, one from Maura in which I met all the grading criteria and another one from Anna where I also met all the criteria, so far I have got all the criteria for all the topics.

Today we get back Pauls assignment too which im worried about because im not sure how well I did on it.

Gonna be very busy over the christmas holidays I have to revise for two Law exams and do any assignments thats due in!

Only 3 Left!

Only 3 Assignmnets Left i've managed to get through them all, only ones left are:

- Maura's - Unit 1 which im halfway through

- Davids - Unit 11 where we are working in groups (struggling)

- Anna's Unit 8 - which im also halfway through

Hopefully by the end of next week with Wednesday and Thursday off i'll have most of them finished or nearly!  I Had Nader's unit 6 assignment back last thursday and I Passed it!!! 

Law is also going well, I managed to do an essay on the Criminal Attempts Act, which I got 40 out of 50 on!

Been A While

Its Been a while since last updated, but it has been an intesive week! Had One assignment from each unit due in the space of a week, starting to feel drained of energy!
I've Handed in two assignments now, and ive now had another 2 set in their place, just seems to be never ending. Ive had 3 assignments back and marked, Anna's Unit 8 P1 e-commerce came back with all the grading criteria met, the same with Davids - Unit 11, which i struggled with, and I met Maura's Unit 3 M1. I have also handed in Anna's P2 and P3 Assignment, which im hoping will also come back with all the grading criteria, The same with Pauls Unit 2 Assignment which I spent so much time on.
Hopefully i'll manage to get on top of all these Assignments there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel... Christmas!
Other than Diploma i've also had a few Law Essays due in which im hoping come back good, one of my major problems last year was my essay technique, and I think thats what brought me down in the exam, so this year im trying to work on that.
Im looking forward to varsity day on the 8th December, a day off college to catch up on the last of all my work before we break up for the Christmas Holidays.

Bonfire Weekend

Had a Great Break this weekend, one of my first weekends I have not had to think about work or college, been trying to keep up to date with my work during my free's and in the evenings so i can relax in the weekend.

Finally finished Davids First Assignment with all the marking criteria, so thats one of my main courseworks out of the way!, Finished all of Anna's P1 Assignment too with all the mark criteria and now on P2, half way through that and its not set till next week!

 Only have two more assignments due in:

- Unit 2 First draft

-Unit 1 First draft 

Almost all done! =D 

Back From Half Term!

Back from Half Term and already its NOVEMBER! Got so many assignments piling up trying to keep on top of them all! My List of assignments are:

• Unit 11 Systems Analysis
• Unit 8 E-commerce
• Unit 1 Employability skills
• Unit 2 computer systems

Im Happy with the feedback i've already got from both David and Anna, both my assignments have come back with all the grading criteria met so its all going well, I even got a cause for congratulations letter : )! Just trying to keep it going and getting them in on time!

Half Term wasnt very relaxing, I was working during the day from 8 - 5, then when I got home I tried to do some college work, not easy to find that mix between work and college!

Half Term!

Half Term =)

No rest for the wicked though, During the day I'm at work, and in the evening I'm working through college assignments, need to keep up with them!

Thats the thing with half terms and the holidays is that just as I get back in to working during the week instead of college I start to enjoy it, especially the pay! Then before I know it I'm back to college!

Feeling good about college, better than last year, my work is turning out good and seem to be enjoying it, feeling confident and hope that its stay like this through the rest of the course!

I've realised that I really wanna go to university and although its a bit early to be thinking about it, but I wanna start looking  now its alot of money to spend on something so want to make sure make the right descision!

Technology Break Almost Over

My Technology break is almost over, only been a weeks it was a bit short lived! Well it has been good I have been able to catch up on all my work and now currently I am work free. 

College is starting to get a bit tiring theres to many changes going on, a new timetable on tuesday and looks like there will be another by the end of the week. Louis has left too so now we have a new teacher on the way, we now have Nader as a teacher on first impressions I thought that I wasnt gonna like his lessons very much, but he is actually very funny, better than Louis!

Whats up with this weather to one day everyones shivering and wearing winter jumpers, the next they are wearing shorts and t-shirts I cant keep up with it all!

Seeing all these crossed out is keeping me motivated, its nice to be able to relax at the weekend without having to worry about getting an assignment in the next week, beacuse there all done!

Technology Break

Im having a break from technology and social networking, not by choice but the fact my blackberrys broke :/ im using a brick to text! might be good to have a break for a little while, just goes to show how much you use and rely on internet accesible phones! Not been a good week all round in the world of technology, Steve Jobs died along with my phone! The reaction to his death really shows how much technology plays in the life of people these days.

All of my assignments are up to date im shocked that I have managed to cope so well with all these courseworks, got another two due in for this friday! Im really enjoying college this year more than I did this time last year, I had a really unbeweavable law lesson today, the best yet! Got a good week ahead planned off being a tourist on wednesday around london, Chinatown, Tchocodiros and MnM world (mmm) then coming home and working on these courseworks so I can relax at the weekend.

Looking forward to christmas this year I think that the run up to christmas is better than christmas day itself, hope we get some good weather this year, a bit of snow would be greatly appreciated, cant keep up with this messed up!

HALF TERM 2 WEEKS!

Short week after a long weekend!

Had such a good weekend! Struggling to find that mix between business and pleasure, Socialising and college work basically! In such a good mood today, got a 3 day week this week, which is also helping! Was such a relief on friday when I handed in my first draft of my coursework for David, now I just have to keep up with it and make sure all the coursework are handed in by there due date, got two more deadlines for this friday, one of them is almost done and the other one is all prepared for, looks like my days off arnt gonna be as I had first hoped. So the first thing I dobe ob the computer this morning and checked my PLP, was happy to see my attendence at 100 % hoping to keep that going throughout the year.

One thing I realised this weekend is how much I rely on my FREE oyster card! Its true you never know what youve got till its gone,  its like freedom has been taken! Well its gone but hopefully not for long TFL annoy me so much they have had my oyster card for 3 weeks now and still they havent sent me it back, all I can say is thank god the train pass still works at half price otherwise I would not be happy paying £33 pound a week just getting to college.

Really cant wait for next may im gonna be 18, I feel like such a baby at the moment all my friends seem to be turning 18 I feel left behind :/! I just dont see why, seeing as christmas starts in september now with all the shops putting decorations up and selling christmas stuff why I cant start celebrating my birthday in january! didnt go down well with my mum! LOL

Running Late!

Since being back it has been crazy! Work coming from all directions and there still no let up!

Managing to keep up to date with it all just about, still getting use to these numerous timetables, the only day I have got to grips with is wedensday and thats because im not in college! Got two assignment deadlines coming up, one im not worried about I understand to some exent, the other well... im working on it.

Really been thinking hard these last couple of days what I want to do after college, as all my friends leave home to go to thier universities, its making me think what I want to do when I leave, not sure if im ready for the outside world! Got me thinking, what if I dont have a choice where I go, im worried that i might make the same mistakes as last year, even though im trying my hardest not to.
